Circus Dreams

Xanadu Entertainment Inc, along with CFI, is creating and producing a new live event in conjunction with the Mill Valley Film Festival. As a part of the Mill Valley Film Festival 2011 Children's FilmFest, now in its 17th year, one of the feature films to be screened as part of the exciting event is called "Circus Dreams." Director Signe Taylor has woven a charming tale of an all kid circus that travels around bringing laughter and joy around the country. Signe will be attending the screening at the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center and will take part in a Q & A immediately following the film. As a fun gift from the Mill Valley Film Festival to the audience and the community, once the Q & A is finished, all the audience will move outside to the streets to have a live circus parade. The parade route will wind through downtown San Rafael ending up in the Town Square. As a lead off to the parade, we will have Fabulous Finny with clowns, Ma and Pa Finston, stilt walkers, a ringmaster, hula hoop girls, and Stornetta's Clo the Clown all to be accompanied by the lively Cartoon Orchestra. Once at the Town Square, the festivities continue with free ice cream, balloons and surprise goodies. Bring your children, dressed to join the parade, and experience all your Circus Dream's at the Children's FilmFest 2011~

Sunday, October 9th at 12 Noon
Parade to follow immediately at 2 pm

pointing emoticonCircus Dream tickets ARE $10.00 and can be purchased at cafilm.org or at the box office in San Rafael.
